Best Places to Study
IHOP on Broadway -map
is a perfect night-before-my-test study spot! You can go there with a group of people to study with, or bring headphones and study alone. It’s open all night, so you know what that means—unlimited caffeine and never getting kicked out! There’s also, of course, food to help you out when you start to dray too. It’s my (and many other Trinity student’s as well, judging by the large number that show up around 11 pm) favorite day-before- studying spot.Submitted by Ashley Ginter
Off-campus at Borders bookstore in the Quarry -map
It can be a little noisy at times, but it's perfect for grabbing a delicious cup of coffee and then spreading out at one of the tables in their little cafe. There's plenty of room to bring your friends, plus, you can take a study break to browse the books and music, or walk next door for some Amy's Ice cream.Submitted by Lauren Banta
The Denny's at I-10 and Wurzbach -map
It's my favorite place to study after hours. It's open all night and it's never crowded. Just remember to be nice and tip well. The staff there incredibly nice to people like me who will sit in the booth for 5 hours and only order a $4 meal.Submitted by Sarah Dudley
Upstairs Coates
It's a nice place to study because it is a central location and is quiet but has enough traffic for those who don't like being in complete isolation. Also, it is close to the computer lab and classes.Submitted by Laura Abrams
The Library
As you might expect, it's a great place to study. Because of rennovations last year, there are lots of computers if you need one, nice couches and chairs, and study cubicles in some of the quieter corners.Submitted by Keri Tomlinson
Brackenridge Park -map
If you're tired of stuffy libraries and just being indoors, Brackenridge Park is fantastic! It's beautiful and close to campus -- next to the zoo. And if you get tired of studying... you can watch the ducks! I love Brackenridge Park!Submitted by Melissa Manny
